If I was running a local news org, I'd pivot from breathlessly reporting the latest cuts and DOGE happenings and angling every bit of news to "here are the local economy impacts on this latest drastic cut in DC." Move the stakes out of the realm of the abstract.

As citizens we’ve marched, protested, attended rallies, wrote postcards, phone banked, canvassed, called and wrote our Congressmen,donated and voted. I’m 68, getting tired of the fight, I’m ready for our elected leaders to actually do something with the less than 2 months we have left.
