Exposure could "... undermine the activities..." WTAF?

So far I'm not seeing any tangible activities from the NACC.

They seem to have spent the vast amount of their time, and our money, refusing to act on clear cases of negligence, conflict of interest, and corruption.

He and his billionaire mates also want unfettered access to Venezuela's vast oil deposits.

Trump really is so shitscared of even the slightest criticism, he's prepared to tank the entire US tourism sector.

No doubt the government will be formulating their new path forward:

-Sacking the Ombo and appointing an incompetent ALP mate.
-Disbanding the Ombo's office - efficiency dividends.
-Outsourcing Ombo functions to PWC.
-Encouraging the use of AI decision-making.

Easier to blame and constrain the victims than to hold those responsible for the damage accountable.

A Christmas horror story.

There are so many easy wins Labor could take that would have huge public support.

Tax gas.
Ban gambling ads.
Outlaw credit card surcharges.
Abandon AUKUS.
Build houses.
Ban political donations.
Protect the environment.

Instead their top priority is to stop kids from accessing social media.

It's OK. The ALP are saving the kids from Social Media, while allowing them to be overwhelmed with gambling ads.

And they're creating thousands of construction jobs - repairing the homes that got damaged by climate disasters, rather than building new places to live.

Rebuilding after climate chaos 'creates jobs', but isn’t economic progress
Climate change will create jobs, but rebuilding what’s been destroyed is not progress.

After a penalty shootout?

Don't kid yourself Labor are that much better.

They are just as complicit as the Libs when it comes to crushing dissent through draconian anti-protest laws.

Their NDIS/Robodebt 2.0 is still demonising the sick & poor, while pandering to the wealthy.

Given the chance, they would do this too.

Superb!

I'm pretty sure anyone who had that much cash lying around would be a more astute investor than someone who would buy uninsurable homes at high risk in disaster-prone areas.

Blame 45 years of neoliberalism.

Dividing and atomising society from a collective, into into a group of self-absorbed individuals, fighting against each other for a diminishing pool of public resources.

Resources that have been progressively siphoned-off into the hands of the uber-wealthy few.

I'm not sure people comprehend the fact that a property being unmortgageable means you will never be able to sell it.

No bank will loan anyone money to buy it, effectively rendering it worthless.

As if the Special Envoy has time to issue statements on every Nazi rally?

She has overseas junkets to plan, expenses to claim, and her own special "research" appointments, into antisemitism in universities, to make.

Finally. I've been waiting years for someone to talk about ISDS's. A mechanism designed to hand power to the sociopath corporations.
