Had #$MGA for some cyclical exposure but got out just recently. Avg was low 40s, felt it went up too much too fast, but still keeping an eye on it for another dip.

You and me both, I've had a flyer position in them for far too long. They're performing like cig stocks circa 21-24, or energy stonks in general, but with significantly less shareholder returns.

Brilliantly written, had me cackling at some points. Here's to another year of seeing how long markets can move blindfolded without (yet) bumping into anything.

Just heard about this through your post. Insane, but not surprising, unfortunately. Saving grace is it's Trump + Bolsonaro's execution abilities that saved the day.

I know it's been 8 months now, but I'm still in disbelief at how an admin can speedrun their relations and reputation into the ground so quickly. As an aside, I wonder how Hoekstra's interactions with his wife go at home. I pity her.

Been moving exposure more and more into Canadian markets over the past year. Valuations were lower, stable businesses. They've moved up a bit now, but stability, decent yields, some (albeit slower) growth, but more importantly can sleep at night. Plus any cadusd appreciation boosts return further.
