Friendly reminder to the Abertan separatists as we enter into a new year. Our (Canada’s) western provinces were still indigenous people’s land when Canada became a country. You aren’t going anywhere without the indigenous people agreeing to separate… among many other groups also agreeing.

I went to comment on this posting. After giving my “HELL NO” response, it prompted me to answer questions. First question was “Do you think Alberta should separate.” Or something like that. I cut and ran. Sounds like a Maple MAGA echo chamber that I didn’t want to be a part of.

Here in Canada we didn’t vote in the Maple MAGA leader… Pierre Poilievre. Since then the Liberal party under PM Mark Carney has become more powerful with them one seat shy from becoming a majority government.

The latest leaks for the movie The Mandalorian and Grogu sounds really interesting. My hot take theory is Grogu will need to face the dark side to some capacity. This is based on word of a macguffin said to be in the movie.
