> “I know which song I listen to most this year…”

What is it?

That depends on your definition of what ads are. :)

You have to love the enthusiasm on that particular worker’s face. :)

Good use of words.

Are you on a spaceship?

> “If you feel that this is unfairly critical of social media…”

No - you have every right (and basis!) to be so. :)

Said process, however, isn’t necessarily predicated upon one person having a direct contact with a large number of other people, but, rather, it can sufficiently work via chain reaction.

Ideas can and do spread like wildfire - and all the tech helps accelerate it.

I agree about the scale. Nowadays, there’s significantly more means available to coordinate this “meta-organism" and set it into a particular direction. (The two-letter craze of the last couple of years is a good example.)

More to come…

Something to do with entropy.

It’s a lovely word, but I wouldn’t want to do a TED talk on it. :)

I absolutely love your short, out-of-context sentences. They’re the best.

Possibly so. We’ll see. :)

I’m with you. I’m not a fan of what the expression exemplifies, nor the whole mess around it. Not a fan at all.

Speaking of expressions, I think “Gaslight” should‘ve been the word of the year each year so far since 2022…

I think capitalism itself is one giant bubble - which contains smaller bubbles inside of it, and there are even smaller bubbles inside of those smaller bubbles, and then more and more… :)

To me, this can be tracked all the way back to the dawn of the human civilization. The simplest illustration is organized religions or political paradigms.

Modern technology is only a useful tool to amplify what’s been there all along - programmed by nature itself and exploited by people in power.

I’m very convinced that Murphy’s Law attracts way more people than Jude Law does.

Missed this one earlier…

It hits too close to home - you know, the landscapes. Because, frankly, literacy has never been my strong suit… or, is it “suite”? Damn it! :)
