I like the perspective of this. As someone in the "fitness world" its easy to see food as fuel, but its also a hobby when I go and try new foods every other week. Its also a major aspect of culture. Some foods I eat & enjoy most are linked to my carribean background also. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
“food is just fuel” is a popular saying in the fitness world. and sure, food can be fuel, but it can also be so much more.

food can be a way to connect with other people, cultures, and our memories.

you don’t have to moralize foods or punish yourself for enjoying them.

I would look for info regarding the demographics of who the study was done on. Whether it be based on gender, age, or members of a specific population or who have certain diseases. Its easy to think that things are general or apply to all people when research is specific @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

Hi my name is Anthony and I'm a Pre-med major class of 2026. I have grown an interest in my own nutrition and have heard good things about this class. I want to know more about healthy eating on a budget. I associate healthy eating with the word expensive. I love steak. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
