Looking forward to the results of this research project. Especially since one of my relatives (Jacob van Braam) played an interesting role in the French-Indian War and later in the American Revolution. #earlymodern

It shows the year 1799. Above the year it says “te” and “oost zaandam” which means “in East Zaandam”. That is a place north-west of Amsterdam. The first line shows words like “Huus set” but I am not sure what to make of that.
