Apple TV has unveiled the first trailer for season two of “Hijack,” the tense real-time thriller starring and executive produced by Idris Elba, and this time the crisis moves from the skies to the tunnels: a Berlin underground train and its commuters are taken hostage while authorities above ground scramble to save hundreds of lives. Created by George Kay (“Lupin,” “Criminal”) and Jim Field Smith (“Criminal,” “Litvinenko”), the eight-episode second season will premiere globally on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, with the first episode, followed by one episode weekly through March 4.
