The first meeting of the FESG for 2025 was held online yesterday with a turnout of 75 speakers, presenters, and audience members. In addition to hosting by volunteer chair Mary Gusella and contributions from the LiveWorkPlay employment team, we enjoyed a series of enthusiastic special guests!

Over the first weekend of March 2025, LiveWorkPlay had the opportunity to participate in a panel hosted by the FSNE and discuss with about 30 families a variety of issues and opportunities related to employment for their family member with an intellectual disability or autism.

Autistic Pride Day is a pride celebration for autistic people held on June 18 each year. Autistic pride points out that autistic people have always been an important part of human society (neurodiversity).

The design represents each Indigenous group with a distinct symbol: the eagle for First Nations, the narwhal for Inuit, and the fiddle for Métis. The colours symbolize the 4 elements of nature: earth, water, fire, and air showing the deep connection Indigenous cultures have with the natural world.
