I work as a librarian and spend most of my time chasing stories. Whether they appear in comics, traditional novels, films, shows, video games, or anywhere else, I’m usually there for it. Oh, and also football, love me some football.
The start of my Legion read has been ROUGH. I just do not jive with the way things were written back then. Despite this, I did just finish the first legitimately good arc I’ve read with this team. The arc between Adventure Comics 346 to 347 was fantastic, and I hope to see more like it soon.

And we can’t forget about our colorists and letterers!

Oh! I forgot to update my Mosts! Unsurprisingly, considering he wrote like all of the Batfamily in the 90s, Chuck Dixon really shot up there. I’m just glad Tim made it into the top ten, though Bruce really rode those coattails to prominence. Had to read a lot of Batman crossovers…

Thus far, my readthroughs have been characters I am interested in, or ones I’m familiar with, but this time I’m gonna dive WAY off the deep end and read a group I really only know tangentially, from their brief appearance and many reboots. But hey, long live the Legion.

I love Steph, but Cass will never not be cool

Tim, he’s your adoptive father, you don’t have to flame him like that!

Also, let me just say, Steph’s Batgirl suit is by far one of my favorites.

Made it to the post Battle for the Cowl world, and made it to this cover. I love this cover so much that I used a textless version as my phone lock screen for years. The best cover of the best character at DC.

Finished reading Twelve Months, and damn I still love this series. Dresden will always be one of my favorite protagonists, and this book kept that going. I loved the use of time throughout, and the ending, just beautiful. Thank you Jim for giving this to us.

Today is a very good day

This cover does go hard though

Even though I know how this ends, and I don’t like what it does to one of my favorite characters, god damn do I love War Games.
January 17, 2026 at 9:18 AM
Tim! You can’t say that!
January 16, 2026 at 2:16 AM
Tim’s just the best
January 12, 2026 at 6:18 AM
He’s such a fuckin’ loser, I love it
January 11, 2026 at 9:42 PM
The shade is just *Chef’s Kiss*
January 11, 2026 at 9:01 PM
Ah yes, the worst member of the Bat Family and my eternal fave. Well, outside of those two I would say these four (secretly five) are characters I love unconditionally. Like, if they appear in a book I will give it a chance, usually longer than I should…
January 10, 2026 at 9:53 PM
I haven’t had much luck reading the 90s, so thus far it’s just these two.
January 8, 2026 at 2:39 PM
I mean…
January 5, 2026 at 6:17 AM
Tim is my favorite, but Alfred is pound for pound the best member of the Bat Family. I will always hope they bring by him back somehow

Again, Young Justice is a gag manga than anything
December 23, 2025 at 9:42 AM
I know Amazing Spider-man is the book no one wants these days because Spidey Fans are impossible to please, but after reading this issue I want Rainbow Rowell to write the book. I loved every second of this book.

Damn, Gotham really does age a person
December 1, 2025 at 5:00 AM
But also, I’m about to start the single longest bit of this read through. I have to read a lot of Batman crossovers in this, and this is the dooziest. But here we goooooo!
December 1, 2025 at 2:17 AM
I said it to friends of mine, but Young Justice has more in common with gag manga than anything else. It makes it a book that’s tonally different than anything else on the market, but also a lot of fun!
