This season ends with 7 birds of 2 species. Although the weather was bad, a rainbow and dozens of swallows certainly made up for it.

Although hundreds of Βarn swallows passed by today, only five birds of prey were recorded by the station.However, two of them were Red footed falcons!

Autumn 2025 – Day 19 of bird ringing
A practically windless day with 70 birds across 15 sps. Blackcaps were by far the most abundant. The birds of the day was a Cetti's Warbler and an adult Red-breasted Flycatcher

Close to 50 birds across 10 sps. Willow Warbler was the most abundant was the Blackcap. The birds of the day were two sps that we do not have the honor to handle the Kingfisher and the Thrush Nightingale.

Day 31 | Autumn Raptor Migration Monitoring
At least 3 Booted eagles were spotted far away and gather on the island, hunting the whole day around. They were often seen flying together !
