Neglect of Dartmoor's habitats by all stakeholders has facilitated the spread of Molinia across the moor (see photo), that's what's burning.

Dartmoor is a unique landscape of ecological, heritage, recreational, and carbon capture importance. When are we going to see mature, impartial, management?

The contrast in motorist acceptance of 20mph urban speed limits between England and Wales is remarkable and it is a result of the blanket approach used by WG. I spend a lot of time driving in Wales and some of the 20mph limits are absolutely ludicrous

When is the UK Govt going to make the connection between development, carbon and waste? The UK construction industry is incredibly inefficient contributing 60%+ of the nation's waste. And all that plant doesn't run on wind-derived power, does it?

An awful combination of spending cuts, a deficient and inert regulator, an agricultural sector bent on profit over ecology and sustainability, and a national mentality that has nothing but contempt for the environment.
