Just a casual dinner for one this evening. The house has been so quiet lately. Made gnocchi with homemade pesto!

Sorry for a sad post, I haven’t really felt like posting anything lately and I had to get this off my mind. I just miss my baby girl.

Had to take our kitty back to the vet today, and they are keeping her for a few days. Coming home was pretty hard on both of us.

A quiet New Years Eve celebration at home was the perfect ending to 2024. Happy New Year! 🎉

Did a satisfying quick cleanup on this antique chair we have in our closet. Took the ormolu pieces off and polished the wood. Added a little gold sheen to the mounts and it looks so nice now!

Tonight’s dinner was a lovely distraction from the world.
