As a scholar, I like to think she’s currently composing her history of recent events in the Dyrwood, warm and cozy in her library as the Lady of Caed Nua.

Ultimately, given how dedicated Tali is to her people, she’d be disappointed if Shepard didn’t return to Earth to “face the music.”
Both understand the unlikely nature of being able to stay in touch, both recognize the obstacles in their way- and they accept it. Neither thought it would be easy.
