I am genuinely trying to stay across it but everything I am read/hear says many of those others just wont raise the same level as income tax. We dont want to raise VAT, that hits the poorest hardest. They wont tax the super-rich properly. I want them to succeed but they're not helping themselves. 😪

Doesn't it need to though! I mean I am loathe to pay more tax, some of my income is already in the 40%, that said... if it means we can support the vulnerable, get services up and running etc then so be it. There is no other way to raise the money required. Other than the billionaires which she wont

Now track if the likes of Walmart etc actually DROP their prices. When it comes to prices going up that can happen "immediately" according to them, but when it comes to reducing them they will say shit like "it'll take time for these costs to filter through to consumers". Don't let em off!!

Why is he a monster? And why shouldn't he get credit? He was literally the one who took it to the vote in Cali, the one who set up the whole thing, rather than bypassing the people, he let them decide. Seriously, what is so monstrous about it?

Im glad to see us starting to stand up to that prick and his incompetent spineless administration. It won't make a difference, his narcissism bubble shields him but I feel better that we are at least thinking of drawing a line in the sand 😂

Unfortunately on this occasion it was actually Liberal Judge Ketanji Brown that issued the order 😪. Only upside to this is MAGATs can't accuse of her bias at least. Just a judge following the letter of the law.

I think that would be a mistake. If they regain the house and senate in 2026 and DON'T focus on the needs of the people and instead focus on going after trump... it will leave a bitter taste come 2028 and could bite them on the ass. Best way to deal with Trump is to control him. He will HATE it 😂😂

Yes we know she is doing this for selfish reasons now it directly affects her. That being said... right now, in this moment in time she is doing the right thing. Standing up to Trump et al when others don't dare. Do I trust her? Not at all. But right now, she is in the right place.

We know she isn't. But what she is doing at this moment in time is the right thing to do. Of course she's doing it for her own selfish reasons, we aren't stupid but it doesn't change the fact she's doing it and it is the right thing to do.

I love AOC and think she will be an incredible President one day but not yet. I think she need a few more high profile roles first.
