Ange strikes again
January 22, 2026 at 8:33 AM
He's only 32, just feels like he's been semi retired for the past 5 years.

Sounds like he might have broken his leg. Sigh.

Tel's goal excepted. Our first goal from open play in 10 hours apparently...

You can see the pavement has salt on it from the road showing, it's just there is not enough traffic to spread and dissolve it into brine; a bike tyre is pretty narrow and there ain't many of them out there in the snow! The cars and vans and lorries do most of the work in the gritting process.
January 4, 2026 at 11:19 PM
More importantly, the snow needs clearing first. Sounds expensive!?

I get frustrated by this too, but standard road salt ("grit") needs lots of vehicles driving over it regularly to be effective, otherwise it doesn't spread or dissolve anyway and re-freezes.

We've got high quality players. They just all play in defence.

Gary Neville could not be more anti-Spurs if he tried. Every time. Does my head in.

Terrible all match.
December 20, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Ah, I see now.
December 20, 2025 at 7:11 PM
How is that not a foul? In Sunday league the ref is giving that for two hands on his shoulders.
December 20, 2025 at 7:03 PM
Game's gone.

It's the hope that kills you. I was at the stadium, I only get to see them once or twice a season now. It's a long way to go and that first half was a travesty. I feel for my son, who has not seen them win live for a long time.

Then it hit me. I'm a middle aged man. I too am obsessed with birds, and with great anticipation I cycle through Cannon Hill park in Birmingham every day, hoping to see the heron and cormorants who hang out in the pond. As I make my way to my middle-management job in a generic city centre office.

It looked from the defenders' reaction like Kinsky called for it and then didn't get there, so I'm guessing Danso was just doing what he was told. Shame. COYS

Leaf sweeping? In Birmingham?! I think they just leave them there until they rot and turn to slippery mulch, then that freezes in the winter into nobbly lumps and then by spring it eventually gets washed down the drains, clogging them up and leading to flooding. Nice and cheap.

Yeah, whatever, whenever.
