like I see that there could be problems with some kind of assisted dying dynamic, I heard some things about Canada in that regard.

but assisted living as a condition for assisted dying seems to leave people suffering indefinitely. because the former is just so much more unlikely to be enacted.

but where does that leave people that are actually suffering right now, who cannot act on their own and so are essentially being forcibly kept alive against their wises?

I was so confused to the point I thought he must've been some weird parody account. Then I was like wait... 'checks notes', that's a supposed to be a joke.

like "right wing rag", yeah lowkey lmfao

I remember someone saying maybe his main point was that the burden should be on the one exercising power over others to justify their actions.

idk tho

I chose the phrase "common sense" poorly, as it is often common sense to do exactly the opposite.

but I'm trying to articulate something. defending against the endless unknown unknowns that come with the complexity of technology is wasteful when you can deny the risk in the first place.

lool.

submedia was a big first intro for me, so I'm kinda susceptible this whole 'decentralized anarchist media collective' narrative. it'd be nice, maybe(?). I like the visual stuff, not many are doing that.

but I know how it tends to end up with these orgs.

I think the most sincere answer is that not enough people are there.

in such a niche area tight social connections are everything.

this is the first time I've felt the 'twitter vibe' outside of twitter.

I ain't watching that b/c of gelderloos lmfao

but tbf, does stimulator speak for all of sub media? I would've thought they were more decentralized than that
