It takes time for people to understand what they're doing wrong. But just because they have a circus doesn't mean I have to buy tickets. And I certainly won't expose my children to something that I don't think has their best interests at heart. We don't need to be "fixed".

Trolls don’t have to win. I’m learning to flip their comments into lessons — sometimes for me, sometimes for everyone. It’s not about perfection, it’s about being real and showing how even negativity can turn into growth.

Why did America embrace McCarthyism? It wasn’t stupidity—it was fear. Fear of spies, fear of losing our new identity, fear of weakness. Fear made paranoia look like patriotism. #History #McCarthyism #ColdWar #FearPolitics #CriticalThinking

In 1978, Queen recorded one of the happiest songs ever written. But Don’t Stop Me Now wasn’t just a party — it was a snapshot of Freddie Mercury at full speed. Joy and danger, tangled together in one unforgettable performance.

Germany’s Bundeswehr trains soldiers to question — and refuse — unlawful orders. This isn’t just theory. It was tested during the Iraq War, when a German officer refused a mission he believed violated international law…

how do other people learn? how do other people intake new information? I'm finding that getting people to accept new information can sometimes clash with their identity, their core being their view of the world. and they're not always able to absorb truth when that truth clashes with their identity.
