It has gotten worse since I was diagnosed. New lesions were found two years ago, and we started an aggressive treatment to hopefully stop/prevent any more damage

There's no telling when/if it will get worse - I could be fine until something else takes me out, or I could deteriorate.

I have yearly MRIs to monitor for new lesions

He did not, btw - he referred me to a retinal clinic where it turns out a resident was working who got me in to the optha-neurology clinic after hours. Like that was the BEST place to send me in hindsight

Hope kiddo is/will be ok - really difficult to navigate invisible disabilities/differences, even more so the younger you are. Shouldn't be, but is.
