What's your sign?

Well, this is about what I expected.

Hey, I have a real scythe and I use it frequently. I'll bet it would be no trouble to dice a drawing on paper with a scythe.

Post the first album you ever bought with your own money.
I was eleven.

This whole trip planned on paper maps. I don't own a cell phone.

My insurance isn't too bad (mostly because my home is only worth about $18,000).

Tornadoes aren't rare in this area, but a single house is an extremely small target.

This is the tornado that got my garage (and did a bunch of damage to my and other people's houses as well).

My wife and I took VIA Rail (Hudson Bay Railway) from Thompson to Churchill. It was a magnificent trip.

We squeezed our 85# dog and a cat in a cat carrier into the back of the car. We've also loaded sufficient luggage for a summer-long trip through Canada.

Yes, and paper maps.

Our last major trip was from Nebraska to Newfoundland by car. It was only with maps and an atlas. (Every state and province will send you free maps in the mail.)

So it turns out Mapquest allows you to string along more stops on a map than Google does.

I played around with it and created a mostly-accurate map of our last long road trip: ten thousand miles in a Smart car from Nebraska to Newfoundland and Labrador.

My own village public library. Our tiny town values having it. You can get anything: Books, movies, records, puzzles, hunting and fishing licenses, Internet service, children's programmes, and more.
