I also work on a tablet, but I usually use ibis paint. That, or I just draw a grid in my physical sketchbook lollll I’ve been able to import those boards into Storyboarder though!

I think that’s the one! It’s been a few years since I downloaded it. I’d my laptop, but it is currently on life support until its replacement comes in TwT

ALSO if you feel that perfectionist urge, remind yourself “I can fix this issue later if it still bothers me when it’s finished.” I make all sorts of slip ups with my traditional art, but I’ve learned it doesn’t look as bad as I thought by the end of the piece. (And I can always fix it digitally)

PLAY WITH STORYBOARDS!!!!!! I use this free program called Storyboarder and it’s got like minimal tools, but all the tools you’ll need. I believe you can import images too…

If I want to work on something specific, I look for references. Over many years, I’ve found this uneven line weight style that I REALLY like, so I tried it in both traditional and digital mediums, played around with where the lines were thin and thick-

TLDR: go play and have fun with art!!!!

I dunno how much this will help but I’m just super fluid with how I “study” art. I don’t set aside time to study, I just go “wow, I suddenly realized I really like this thing” and then draw it- doesn’t matter what style or if it’s finished- I just go at it in whatever direction my brain takes me.

REAL Blender tutorials were such a drag for me, but BlockBench’s truck tutorial is simple and slow enough for me to follow- and it was done so quick too

(I will be fair, going to college for 3D probably also helped…. BUT STILL LOL)
