I generally don't care about author intent in art, but since we were talking definitions as well as the title, i thought I'd casually look.
Sorry anyways that the song is disappointing/upsetting

Hmm only read the first non paywalled part but seems they did not have a strong concept early on and threw spaghetti until John Lasseter liked it. This is movie 1 btw. I haven't seen 2 yet and am avoiding spoilers

This conversation is making me want to see what the creators were thinking with the title and storyline. I always assumed it was a play on Utopia which it clearly isn't with the stereotypes but in the end becomes a Zootopia which is imperfect but better. Maybe the stereotypes are the cages both ways

I think the mistake is that some of the other lyrics blur these definitions even more. Are humans in the zoo but the characters are not? That's definitely where i see your point and think it's unfortunate they made it ambiguous

I think we agree that the literal interpretation here is not good. But the metaphorical interpretation of zoo a "a wild place" is not unreasonable, right? Also getting at diversity "we are all different but that shouldn't stop us from partying together".

I took zoo as metaphorical but see how a literal interpretation is upsetting

Disclaimer: except the balanced and headphone out and a few inputs, but still an audio interface with mixing that can be chained to other algorithms. I never really liked the ex but the nt is awesome

No doubt, but since it basically combines and replaces the ex and es9, it's worth it imho.

The NT is different. Maybe someone consulted on the UI

Music for dogs could be a fun project. Might need vinyl to get a wide enough frequency range.

Thanks, i think there is an either/or here, where ad valorem will avoid what you describe IF and only if the paperwork is correct. Otherwise a flat fee will apply, and that fee is pretty brutal.

Do you have a reference for this part?
"so the solution US customs have gone for is to just treat every single package as if it was worth $800, plus the value on the customs form"

3. Many governments have strict requirements on research ethics and these are contractually tied to research funding, with strong oversight and enforcement. Unfortunately it is the wild west for corporate research as was shown in the facebook emotional contagion work. I worry about that the most.
