And galloping up on the ropes….. a Tallboy Lancaster to be marked as KC-G DV403 of 617sqn from RAF Woodall Spa. Won’t be complete by the deadline as don’t have the decals for it yet, but should be in paint

So the #routemaster is benched, I have been asked to do a dio for one of the authors of the book detailing the last flight of a 617 sqn Lanc.
The difficulty is that it is a tallboy Lanc and kits are few and far between, still I have found one! I also have a tallboy so result 🤣

Some progress on the #routemaster engine, nearly completed, additional parts from CTM models PE sheets for the kit and scratch building, a lot of reference to an old decker in the yard to get it looking “lived in”

This barn was on one of my rides earlier this year, very similar and many of our old barns/field shelters are very similar

TBH 1/24 probably offers more scope than my skills can cope with, but I have plenty of examples in the yard to use for inspiration, this is my regular chariot, ex London, now retired to the shires 🤣

The Tu95 Bear has been benched for a week or two, been working on the engine for my 1/24 scale Routemaster Bus
