I like cities and transit. I want more housing and an end to car dependency. STL -> SF -> SEA
The reason this segment was passed over before was the expense of rebuilding the pedestrian bridges. Are those included in this project or have they found a way to widen the trail without replacing them?

During construction, I wished Piecora’s would return in the new building in toe first photo, but of course that retail space has been vacant since it was built.

I’ve been thinking about this as well and would be interested in discussing it with others in nearby co-ops and condos.

Then I hope this breaks the record for highest scoring NFL game and that it is a nail-biter right up to the end!

I don’t recall what she was so focused on, but I’d bet on squirrel.

A stub line could with its own OMF could allow for an automated metro line with shorter trains and high frequency. There could be more cost savings by reducing the size of all the stations. It would prevent future integration with existing lines though.

I got on one today as well. I don’t encounter them very often anymore so it’s notable when I see one.

The real time data has returned for me.

Yeah, I am also experiencing this today.

I remember when the owners floated the idea of building a new building with housing above and the grocery/cafe on the ground floor. I wish we would have had four fours and a corner store there.

My favorite part about this ranking is that Seattle Central College was not in the top 10 on election day eve and rose to second place on election day. Its count increased by 8600 on election day!

Oh wow, I hate walking at this intersection. Let’s bring back the park!

Some of their competitors allow you to search their catalog using McMaster part numbers to find equivalent parts. It’s basically admitting defeat in terms of a usable website.

I've been noticing lots of oddities with the live tracking as well for at least the past week. I've also noticed that the location data is less current than it used to be (the timer in Transit app now regularly exceeds 3 minutes).

I’m interested in this as well. In addition, is there any way to get historical ridership information by line?

The same people who endorsed the most inexperienced and incompetent people we could have imagined for council in 2023 are now trying to convince voters that Foster and Wilson lack the necessary experience.

I noticed this at the origin of the streetcar today. Transit App showed a real time departure estimate and showed a grey vehicle icon at the stop.

I will be annoyed (but not surprised) if a highway project removes transit infrastructure and then pushes the cost to restore it onto the transit agency.

Is there a plan to restore the wires to the 43? If so, will it be covered by WSDOT’s budget since they are the reason the wires were removed?

When I saw large containers in the parking lot of my nearest 711, I thought it was closing and had dreams for the lot. Housing above a local corner store and deli. With a basement for Annapurna to move to if their building was torn down. Turns out they were just replacing their appliances.

I have considered taking Sounder here to try Howdy Bagel sometime when I take off work for a day to myself.

I have been to the central branch more since the G opened than I did the entire time I have lived in Seattle.
