Got to my Unload early this morning, so it's going to be a good, long weekend for me, assuming I didn't just Jinx it lol.

Had to go rescue a load when one of my co-workers stopped working. Essentially we're drawing into my trailer's pump, and using that suction to offload.
He was lucky that I was in the area.

Wasps swarming our drop lot and customers is a sign that summer is ending, thankfully. You got to get real comfortable with the wasps when hauling what is essentially liquid sugar. They seem to understand that if they sting us here, poison appears, and for the most part leave us alone. #LongHaulLife

Sad I wasn't able to go to Ottawa #Pride this year. I was working yesterday, and just got too burnt out from work to go today. My friends seemed to have a blast though. I'll definitely make time for it next year.

The armrest on my banjo got weirdly corroded and was giving me a rash, so I pulled it off, sanded it down, and gave it a fresh coat of paint. I think it turned out quite nice :)

In case you're wondering, this is the plate that's often used to keep trailers attached to the tractors. It's a beefy hunk of metal and I've never personally seen the plate or the kingpin itself fail. #LongHaulLife.
