However the argument I would make is that he polled WAY better than Hillary in the race that mattered, and that was the one vs Trump for presidency. They lost the election and now we are set down this MAGA path.
All of this was to say, that guys concerns about the DNC are fair. 2 election cycles.

Right, she did win the popular, 15mil to Bernie’s 12mil, while being actively favored by the DNC, which was proven by the email leak, a federal court, and Shultz stepping down. It’s hard to say if he could have beaten her if Dems were not turned off to Bernie’s campaign by their own party. 1/2

People forget how important it is to be able to cross the aisle. Bernie was seen as “radical” by many Repubs I know and they still preferred him to Hilary. I have friends now who have come full circle and now think he would’ve been great. They are non-voters or Repubs saying this.

The judge just didn’t award them damages because they lied about donating to the campaign. They were still right.
