All that is met with "whaaat? Nah she's fiine. Just block low!" And then he smacks me with an overhead and we're off to the races.

So after the FT5, I get up, look each of them in the eyes and say "you two are the reason I won't touch this game again."

And then Kokonoe was banned months later

This dude proceeds to hit me with 50% meterless combos, loudly talking shit the whole time with his boy hyping him up. It was kinda funny the first round, but this didn't stop.

I asked him to switch chars, or at least chill, because I wasn't learning anything except that Kokonoe was broken

But really, I was just there to practice. I know I wasn't in any shape to compete, it had been years since I touched the game, and these guys were always better than me in this one.

So the two TOs say I should do a first to 5 to get back into it. Fine, but I'm not expecting to take a round.

How the game works, how my character changed, all that. Y'know, get back into the game.

The two guys running the locals were giving me a crash course on what had changed, and they wanted to show me Kokonoe. Cool, new character, she's real strong. That's no problem, I like seeing broken stuff.
