I had the longest fest/market so far yesterday and it was so amazing (minus the weather). I sold 7 pieces, talked to the local newspaper, and had soooo many stop by the booth!! 8 hours in the heat was totally worth it!!

starting to lay down the initial glaze. going for focused and detailed on the central branch and unfocused and impressionistic on the background buds, letting the water and paint flow a bit freely and do their thing. not sure how I feel about it so far, but we'll see where it goes

I found a vintage hanky and postcard a long time ago and have been saving it for a really special piece and yesterday I made that piece! I love that you could stare at this for 10 minutes and still find new things to see 💜
