YAY!! i was excited because this is a topic i think about so much and YOU’RE RIGHT!! i was also getting the impression that it’s not discussed as much was for the same reasons but you worded how i felt about it perfectly. her lesbianism has been there from the beginning and in many of her actions!!

so sorry for yapping on your post but i think about this so much. like that’s not mentioning literally everything between her and ena, her gushing over kanade and wanting to dress her up, her bond with niigo in general. i really don’t get why she NEVER comes up in these discussions because ???

i don’t have every example on hand, but she’s gushed over mmj, over kohane, over honami, like… she gushes over girls regularly! it’s to a point where i’m pretty surprised mizuki never comes up in the discussion ever 😭 it’s not as overt, i guess, but i feel the coding’s still. there.

and that’s just me pointing out more obscure moments. a lot of her teasing to ena can read as it too. it honestly reads very much like she “tests the waters” to see what ena/niigo think of her saying that by doing it in a joke manner. if they react bad she can laugh it off. it makes sense for her.

like i can’t recall any instances where she does the same with guys despite being friends with them all. but there’s mafuyu’s moon rabbit 2 star and even in random outside things like the ringfit adventure video, she teasingly asks niigo if they’ve all fallen for her being good at the game yet 😭

like there’s an area convo where she’s pointing out an ad with a model talking about how cute it is, meaning the graphic design, and ena just assumes she’s talking about the model 😭

not only that, it’s not to the extent of how saki does, but she joke-flirts with girls, especially ena + niigo a lot!

no i’m always thinking about this like. honestly i’ve always considered her one because she’s ALWAYS talking about how pretty and cute she finds girls, like idols, models, and characters. she likes more traditionally ‘boy-ish’ media too and is friends with the boys, but talks differently about guys.
