“He probably put an ad up then picked the most sketchy looking people for authenticity. Fucking lunatic.” He shakes his head with a smile despite himself. “I bet he said, ‘Oh hey guys,’” he makes his voice higher and squeaker to sound like Stede, “‘I’m just taking my fancy unicorn boat on a little jaunt to play pirates until I get bored and fuck off, leaving behind his cool new best friend who happened to kiss him. Whatever. Check out my fancy clothes!’” He does what he considers a very Stede-like flourish

I finally finished my dinosaur fossil cowl! I've been knitting it on and off (mostly off) for nearly a year. I'm super proud of it, even if I can see mistakes. I definitely improved during the process, that's for certain.

Stede obviously objects to anyone besides Ed staring at his arse, but he's relinquished to the idea that he is a very handsome dog. Obviously the crew are helpless to resist him when he's like this. “I just don't get how a fucking corgi got on board,” Izzy continues. Stede frowns, lifting his head and interrupting his blissful head massage to take a look at himself. He has to spin around, chasing his own fluffy tail to see but he realises that yes, he is in fact a corgi. It explains his short legs and how he yaps instead of barks, but Stede can't help but feel disappointed. If he is going to be a dog, he should be something a bit bigger and tougher. Case in point, the crew chuckle at his twirls and Jim grabs hold of him to put in their lap. Stede means to object, absolutely he does, but soon the head scritches return and he is in heaven once more.
