I know your post is meant to be a little sarcastic, but honestly? I think you're doing your duty plenty. Speaking personally, your comics have been at times an essential source of joy and whimsy for a lot of people, including me. We all need that. Besides, everyone fights in their own way, right?

I know that some pony cons have invited local game and comic shops to have a table, which honestly does make sense to me, but big box stores would be totally weird.

Shorter campaigns do tend to be more goal-focused.
It's a long-shot, but if you do like the more expansive world-building of a setting you want to get lost in, but also prefer the more focused tone of shorter campaigns, maybe you could find a West Marches style DnD game to be a part of.
