another grid friday. i loved the new astrid sonnet, liquid mike, and large brush collection albums; it’s quite amazing that both pink moon and #1 record came out in ‘72, good year for music!; and pile of love is one of the better power pop made by hxc adjacent guys bands.

it’s grid friday! this week: the bumper ep remains incredible; creed are not actually good but there’s some riffs in there brother; even better, all time great riffs: quicksand; driver 8 is one of the best songs of all time; and super unison are underrated.

it’s grid friday, baby. not much to this week: julia are finally on streaming; the singles from waxahatchee and gouge away are great; i was really into that first masked intruder album when it came out but i don’t think i like it that much anymore while lemuria remain one of the best to ever do it.

friday night grid. i’m still in catching up mode. this week: loved the estoy bien album, loved the flesh tape single, won by lina tullgren is my favorite album of 2017 and no one talks about it, i need to listen to the westerman album a little more but it’s real nice white boy music.

last weekly grid of the year! hope you all had a good year and next one is better. this week: christmas music, and mostly more revisiting and catching up. my favorite listen of the week was “warm” the first (?) demo of end of a year self defense family. my boys really had it from day one.
