If they still have access to the tailnet after login credentials are revoked, this polycule has worse IT than I would expect.

If they don't and the offboarding email still includes bare go/ links, then the polycule has exactly the level of HR I would expect.

Genuinely the only thing that made me sure it's a bit was that bare "go/" links won't work if you no longer have login and therefore aren't using the organization's DNS, and that I pray that Pornhub for Enterprise is not a thing.

Even if this were true, let me tell you: the main determiner of who walks to school and who doesn't isn't parenting philosophy, it's address. If you can afford to live within a 5-10 minute walk of your school (especially if it's a "good school"), I'm guessing that's not your kids' only advantage.

I found dozens of articles in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals that disagree with you, but you wouldn't know them. They live in Canada. And are shy. But they're real, believe me.

"I don't want to cherrypick," is, at very least, a refreshing tack on refusing to cure sources.

You'd already implicitly cherrypicked when you said "several studies say ___". So provide your sources and I promise people will use those as a jumping off point to search the larger body of literature.

Holy shit. I watched it without sound first and could imagine Louise Fletcher's voice. Creepy.

I wish that I could imitate my betters
And fortify my rhetoric with guns.
Some day we women will lose our fetters
And teach our daughter to be lesbians.
(I wonder if the bastard kept my letters?)
Here follow untranslatable French puns.

I think you're referring obliquely to facts that are not as universally known as you think.

Genuinely, I bought the smallest (new) pickup currently on the market. It just barely fits in our (admittedly small) garage. I'm so angry I couldn't get something the size of a 90s "full-size" truck without also getting a 30-year-old car.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure from looking at it in context, OP was being sarcastic. But Poe's law plays, of course.

You're being either credulous or complicit by pretending the thin veneer of plausible deniability has any merit. I can't imagine any college instructor passing an equivalently superficial analysis, filled with poorly defended assertions of opinion, even if it was a religious studies class.

All this notwithstanding the surrounding context making it clear that she intentionally wrote a failing essay which also mentioned her religious beliefs so that she could blame her bad grade on religious board and in so doing threaten the career/safety of a trans teacher.

Do you believe there should be baseline expectations that college be able to write with a coherent structure and support their claims with evidence? Because my 5th grader's teacher would ask for rewrites on that "essay". At best it demonstrated she read one sentence.
