Today I'm grateful that people are waking up to the plight colonizers caused Indigenous Peoples in the U.S. My hope is that all people are treated with respect some day.

Claiming that attachments and possession are what causes mental illness is a form of ableism. It is discrimination against the mentally ill, and a lazy excuse to avoid helping them. Using "blessings" and trying to perform exorcisms can actually damage a person's spiritual and mental well-being.
