Meet Princess Buttercup. She’s a perfect little lady, except she’s got horrible allergies … to human dander.

That’s right. My cuddly kitty is allergic to people.

I should be out protesting something. Instead, I’m contemplating my next quilt.

Here’s another dimensional baby quilt based on a Kristin Royston design. The butterflies’ wings are ruffled pockets!

Baby quilt for my newest nephew. The top fins are ruffles and the lower fins and tails are flaps for little hands to explore.

Who else is deep into Dungeon Crawler Carl on Audible? For once, I don’t even want to buy the books because the audio performance is so freaking good. I’m on the 4th book now, and still loving everything about Carl and Princess Donut.

I’ve only finished Chapter 1 and I’ve already been hit hard emotionally twice.

Am I strong enough to read this storming story? (No, I’ve not read any of the pre-released chapters. I’ve saved them all for a marathon session.)

My weekend is fully booked: 30 pages down, 1299 to go.

Magnolias are edible! The big white ones taste like ginger and lemon - but you do have to steep the flowers to get the flavor out. The big, overblown, almost-turning-brown ones are best. If you have to fight the bees for them, you’re in the right place.
