After playing Expedition 33, I wanted to get back into JRPG's again, so I started playing Dragon Quest III HD-2D and the whiplash was initially pretty jarring, but I'm enjoying the slower pace of it a lot now that I'm learning about the nuances of the vocation system more.

I just got my copy of Wingspan America's Expansion and I'm so excited to try out the new hummingbird mechanics! There's already some very interesting bird powers like this one

Finally finished Metroid Prime 4 Beyond!
Overall, I had a great time 100%ing all of the items and scans. The bosses had some interesting mechanics and you can really see the DNA of Prime 1 that they were building off of, but felt a lot more contrived in the execution than organic

Finally started reading Invincible after only having watched the first 2 seasons. I'm like barely halfway through the first compendium and the fact that there's 2 more of these is something I greatly look forward to!

Recently learned that Science Saru the studio behind Dandadan is releasing a new anime in July about a Muslim girl during Genghis Khan era Mongolia and immediately bought the manga! There's only 2 volumes out, but loving it so far! @yenpress.com Thank you so much for bringing this series in English!

I managed to read quite a bit last month with catching up on Daemons of the Shadow Realm and Zatch Bell 2! I want to finish strong this year for my goal of 200 books! Only have 30 left!

Finally had a chance to sit down with the boys and play the new Stonemaier game Vantage! It's genuinely nothing like any board game I've ever played before. The sense of exploration is unmatched and I can't wait to play again

Genuinely love the cover collage feature of StoryGraph! I'm still keeping up with my Detective Conan reread, and knocked out a lot of Gash Bell volumes, and started the Fullmetal Alchemist Author's latest series Daemons of the Shadow Realm!

So far the hardest enemy in Silksong I've faced is the stupid rosebud jump pads
I don't know what it is, but for the life of me I can't consistently get the timing right for multiple in a row
Either way, having a blast so far even though I've already blown like 500 beads because I was too cocky lol

The Sigurd paralogue in Fire Emblem Engage is by far the funniest official map I've ever seen. After unlocking the bridge, 18 fully promoted reinforcements show up ready to annihilate you but Sigurd just Leroy Jenkins right into your team because his move stat is so high lmaooo

After finishing the excellent Steamworld Heist 2, I wouldn't normally play another tactical game, but I got in the exact right mood to restart Fire Emblem Engage, and I love it so much more than when I tried starting it 2 years ago

Was really glad that Steamworld Heist 2 went on sale because I have been meaning to play it after how much I loved the first one! And as soon as I started, I knew I was going to be home all over again!

Saw F4 last night, and maybe my expectations were misplaced, but it really didn't click for me. Felt like almost nothing happened outside of the first encounter with Galactus and the super rushed final battle. Maybe I just need a second viewing when it comes to streaming
