My West Coast area bears this out. We peak August 2ⁿᵈ. Meanwhile, growing up on the East Coast, it always felt to me like summer was waning by August, and indeed, my hometown peaks in just a few days.

There’s a local restaurant that uses it on kale salad instead of dressing. And another that puts it on fried rice.

Agreed, but bigger question: Why does your pouch look completely different from the ones we have in WA?? That looks like a normal TB sauce pouch. The avocado salsa verde here comes in these flat, floppy, plastic tear-away pouches.

TBF, that had a lot more to do with him changing as a person in the years we were apart than specifically the fact we were meeting an online friend. He was a jerk online by the end, too.
