Minnesota literally punted the ball straight out of bounds on purpose from the kickoff, then gave up two goals inside of ten minutes. One of them a blown clearance your grandmother would do better with.

Your right. I guess I still think of Nagbe as a DP even tho we bought him down. With him retiring it’s still another large chunk of money for a potential new coach to play with.

I don’t think losing Nancy is the worst thing when you consider the circumstances. If we dump Gaz you’d have 2 open DP spots. Camacho out. jones out. That’s A TON of money and flexibility for a new coach to play with. It’s a rebuild really. Most lucrative job opening in the league id think.

Is Pipa the hire? Cuz I think that’s the succession plan. And it’s a bad plan IMO.

It’s cool to see women’s sports get the eye balls they deserve but how much of this coincides with one players arrival? Caitlin Clark. MLS has seen steady growth (we think?) for decades. but this looks like an unsustainable pattern for wnba here right? A flash in the pan.

How can you be skeptical of MLS numbers but completely by into the idea that WNBA is “more popular”?(would help to define what you mean by “more popular”) I kinda don’t buy any of this.

Again you’re technically right, but that not the whole story. I would have no problem had MLS and/or fifa announced the qualification requirements for the CWC before the season started. But neither party did. MLS blamed fifa but MLS was complicit by not announcing anything before hand. No integrity

The Messi situation has highlighted this. MLS awarding Miami a Club World Cup spot last year for a supporter shield was completely arbitrary. They waited till Miami won something(anything), then awarded it to them. No one was surprised because we all know the league is a joke. No integrity.
