Why are the Dems going along with this? Why don’t they just come Back and sit in the house for at least part of the day? Why don’t they hold joint press conferences saying “we’re ready to work. Mike Johnson is not”. Why aren’t their pays docked for absenteeism like all people?

The media expects people to understand subtexts. Follow up question should have been: “so may I quote you on this: kidnapping and brutalizing people is appropriate and correct?”
