Oh yeah, that too. I guess I just don’t understand much about how HDR digital signals get captured.

It’s just is what it is 😞.

That might just be it.

Just a shame really… although maybe are just the cuts between dark to light scenes what makes it really hard to my eyes.

I hope the HDR options allows me to give me something more to my confort.

Ps: Hellblade II HDR was awesome.

Oh, my reference is a LG C1, an iPhone 13 Pro, and the XDR Display on a Macbook Pro 16 inch. I love Digital Foundry, I just don’t want to miss anything.

Don’t worry, I wasn’t asking for that. That would be a huge endevour only to appeace one guy. Also several viewers seem to like it this way.
I just had to stick to character limits, so I didn’t mention that. I also didn’t mention I enjoyed the video on SDR anyways 👍

Sorry John, the brightness of this video on HDR made this unwatchable for me. There’s a good reason why movies and TV shows aren’t this bright anymore.

Here’s a great video explaining why we are following BT.2408 recommendations for HDR (no idea why the 2027 jokes).
