I am very disappointed in Labour. They are a third of the way through their term in govt and imo they have not led us to a better place as they have dialled up the prejudice and general nastiness of othering us

A country isn't a restaurant with a à la carte menu for us to pick and choose. Reeves argument is so stupid. There are so many things we pay for that we don’t use…. I didn’t abuse my children so should I opt out of paying for children’s services social workers?

I pay for lots of things I don’t use. That’s what a good society does. Things like a fire service. Most of us will never have a chip pan fire or need to be cut out of a car but if we are in that situation it’s better to call 999 than use google to arrange one! My Vote is a @greenparty.org.uk one now

Was supposed to be out dancing at NYE barn dance but Gen z xmas guests gave me flu so instead it is #TheArchers rampage night for me with a dose of self pity… Looking forward to reading commentary on here afterwards though

We can choose whatever we want. If we decide we want the ceremonial and business aspects all in the prime minister, we can do that. If we decide the person who wins strictly can be head of state for that year, we can do that. But a head of state by divine or birth right gives us no choice.

That argument equally applies to a King Andrew. At least with a President Blair we could vote him out.

South Cambs are open 5 days. Each team has some people have a Friday off and some have a Monday off. if your bins are collected does it matter to you if the waste people are working 5 or 4 days? Here is the evidence of you want to be fully informed scambs.moderngov.co.uk/documents/s1...
