We need Previews to come to Android rather being betas which require installing and uninstalling the release version each time....

Hopefully a snapshot, mainly because I think that Vibrant Visuals is too oversaturrated since last preview and I hope that with another preview or 2 they make it right again.

I'd like Samsung to drop the ultra high MP primary sensors on their Ultra to start using actually good sensors like the 50 MP Lytia's from Sony -_-

The fog changes compared to last weeks snapshot when it comes to rain and snow make it perfect now, however I would have loved the fog to always appear at night in the pale garden regardless of weather, it would have made such a difference!

Very interesting job position. Of course I will apply with my CV: expertise in programming = 0 but if I get hired I'll destroy the code for the happy ghast texture and rename it to something else. I don't see how or why Mojang studios won't hire me straight away 😜.

Maybe it has already been asked a million times but is it possible to see inside Bedrock DLSS 2 get officially upgraded to DLSS 4 and to see finally FSR 3 - FSR 4 - XeSS2 being implemented as alteranative upscalers for AMD Radeon and Intel Arc GPU owners?

Thanks for the heads up!

Rain fog is cool but I agree that it looks quite "off place" like a screen filter especially given the fact that both the hand and offhand are not affected by it and it looks odd.

I hope that they add fog at night in the Pale Garden regardless of weather though!

Lol

they can reach parity or make it even better in the coming months.

I checked today and now I can edit reports, last time I did which was 2 weeks ago if I am not wrong I wasn't able to do so.
I am glad that it is now possible again, however I think that there are still some things missing here and there compared to the old system which worked great. Hopefully

Thank you. At the current point in time I think that compared to the old bugtracker the inability to update the original submission or to add affected versions as they come out is a pretty big limitation.
I hope that the team can find a solution.

Am I missing something? Is this temporary and will be changed in the near future?
May 3, 2025 at 8:27 AM
Hey Jens! I need to ask you one thing regarding the new bugtracker, with the old one it was possible to update and edit the bug report and to add new versions as they come out if they still have the same bug. With the new bugtracker that seems not possible anymore.

Hopefully you find a way to make dynamic lighting viable as a part of vibrant visuals.
April 26, 2025 at 9:13 AM
I think that for the happy ghast they could have done something similar or at least made a ghast variant which doesn't look like it has come out of Peppa Pig....
April 24, 2025 at 10:16 AM
improvements on Java to go alongside that, it makes me really excited.
However I do not like the direction they took with the happy ghast, it looks silly and childish to me. We could have had something as cool as the strider which is basically an obsidian boat with a neutral face without being that.
April 24, 2025 at 10:16 AM
Hopefully they also bring dynamic lighting alongside the visual update.
That said I'll still play the game with the non vibrant visual setting for the most part because that is how I enjoy it. I am however happy that they are making a default shader pack and finally doing performance

The locator bar is interesting for multiplayer however in singleplayer I think that it could be very useful to mark the position of pets perhaps when they are following the player.
April 22, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Personally I don't think that what makes it exciting is the visual itself as it can be achieved with a shader pack.
What makes it very very very exciting is that they are reworking the whole rendering pipeline. We will finally get the performance "update" we have needed for more than a decade!
April 18, 2025 at 7:59 AM
"cannot commit yet"
Hopefully they'll find a way to sort that out
April 18, 2025 at 7:25 AM
If I can ask. Could you please consider implementing VRS or advanced LOD features while you rework the rendering pipeline if it is viable? Any chance for FSR3.1-4/XeSS2/DLSS4 upscaling even if the game renders with OpenGL?
April 18, 2025 at 6:23 AM
I'll be joining that straight away. It'll be very interesting to read such discussions.

This 8GB of VRAM on gamer GPUs (entry level and above) HAS to stop, what year are we in? 2015 or 2025?
April 17, 2025 at 6:19 AM
for example the Ghastlin etc... are all cool name and I do not understand why they made the last stage name so unimaginative. Furthermore they should make it a little bit different from "just a ghast" with a smile on its face. The happy ghast and its saddle look to have come out from a baby cartoon
