2 months ago I bought a vacant school building in a walkable neighborhood that can get a LOT more walkable. This is exciting b/c my city updated the zoning to allow for mixed use / higher density. The possibilities are unlocked! Designing on the neighborhood scale is a level up.

Trump is saying the quiet part out loud. Listen closely Gen Z and millennials, politicians like Trump are intentionally trying to restrict housing supply to protect boomer votes. Gotta fight this at the local level through zoning and code reform.

Oh, the irony! The most effective way to kill multi-family development is to enact rent control. A city can virtue signal affordability, and appease the wealthy NIMBYS all in one move.

Data showing the best, and perhaps only, way to bring housing prices down is simply to build more housing of all types even "luxury" - as much as it might trigger far left NIMBYs.
