Tom Nesmith began his archival career in 1978 at the then Public Archives of Canada. In 1990, he became the founding professor of the University of Manitoba's archival studies master's program in the Department of History.

Today's the day for another ACA Hashtag Party, and today we're exploring some of the materials around archival materials! Occasionally, archival materials get donated to us inside of enclosures that are themselves somewhat archival, or at least unique, interesting, and maybe even beautiful.

Following its success last year, the ACA Mentorship Program is happy to re-launch the BIPOC Mentorship Program.
Individuals who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) are welcome to opt-in to the program as mentors or mentees. Mentees may choose to be paired with a BIPOC mentor or not.
