According to the Caerns. Trans. 1957-59 "Thomas Hopper preserved the plan & fragments of one of the oldest and most important houses in north Wales. Hopper retained and enlarged the plan of Samuel Wyatt who in turn had incorportaed in his short lived house the original hall built in the early C14th"

110 years ago on the 11th of September 1915 the first meeting of the first branch of the WI was held in Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll, Anglesey.

Plasty brenhinol o'r 13eg ganrif oedd Neuadd Llewelyn, wedi'i lleoli wrth ymyl ac wedi'i ymgorffori i dŵr ar Furiau Tref Conwy. Credir bod y neuadd gynt yn eiddo neu yn gysylltiedig â Thywysog Gwynedd ac wedi bod ynghlwm i’r Abaty Sistersaidd a oedd bryd hynny wedi ei lleoli ar y safle yn y dref.

Llewelyn's Hall was a 13th century royal mansion located next to and incorporated into a tower on Conwy's Town Walls. The hall is believed to have belonged to or been associated with the Prince of Gwynedd and may have been attached to the Cistercian Abbey that then occupied the site of the town.
