I fucking love dwarf fortress
This is an image on Bluessky. There is a snippet of text from a Dwarf Fortress text log describing a characters feelings. It was authored by Archqueer. It says "She felt pleasuse near a very fine Restraint. She felt pleasure near a completely sublime Bed. She felt pleasure near a fine Door." The writing is a reservoir of amusingly clever quips. Overall, the prose is great.

Kobolds in fantasy are one of my favorite topics because it's a fascinating art meme. Basically any description of kobolds that isn't similar to brownies or similar small germanic house-elves stems from this picture from the 1st edition AD&D monster manual.
