What you don't do is start by saying you're fine with the guy feeding trans people to the leopards and then, when trans people say they won't vote to be fed to leopards, respond by saying "well the other guy wants to feed you AND OTHERS to the leopards. So get on board, bud."

I held my nose and voted for Clinton and Harris and got blamed for their losses anyway because these people think my individual vote has more impact on the election than the Dems choosing to run a mediocre GOP-wannabe candidate does.

None of this is actually about protecting children. It's to create a chilling effect and prosecute people on speech, especially political or sexual speech. The latter of which is invariably "pornography" or "corrupting" no matter how graphic or not-graphic, lurid or educational, coded or explicit.
