@lysianthus It's introversion in my case as well indeed, and also heavily imprinted habits from earlier education "don't steal spotlight" and some automatic feel of guilt "if they recognize me, I'm more special than others, and these 'others' might not like it". Something like that.

@lysianthus I know that feel. Was very embarrassed when was buying movie disks, and the shopkeeper switched to English with me immediately, apparently recognizing me.
