Nuzzi wasn't quoting JBR; she was rambling incoherently about Trump, beauty pageants, the murderous targeting of beautiful girls, and media feeding frenzies. Guessing she was relating her "victimization" to JBR's, but the comparison doesn't work.

My latest protest sign. The center symbol is the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety pictogram for "can cause death or toxicity with short exposure to small amounts," which seems apt.

Absolutely! I have wondered whether my teacher shared her diagnosis to dispel potential concerns about an alcoholic teaching young children.
As for the timeline of this story: my teacher, who never reached retirement age, died in the mid 70s; I became an RN and got a Hep B vaccine in the mid 80s.

Oof. I take it you haven't watched Death by Lightning (Netflix) yet? It beautifully demonstrates why sometimes it's best that the bullet stays put. Tough to watch the mayhem perpetrated by President Garfield's physician who is convinced otherwise.
