On this Earth Day I’d like to remind people of the environment consequences caused by the Mahwah NJ ford plant who dumped toxic waste at the Ringwood Mines. This led the contaminated the ancestral homeland of the Ramapough Lenape Nation. This area has been a superfund site since the 80’s.

If someone claims to like Green Day but are MAGA, those people are posers no matter how long they have been in the alt community. Green Day intentionally changed their lyrics toAmerican Idiot to say “I’m not apart of a MAGA agenda.” The alt community is a safe space for all kinds of people.

This is one of the most powerful books to read about the environment and human interference with nature. Despite being published over 50 years ago by Rachel Carson, Silent Spring is still relevant to our current political climate and environmental politics!
